INFINITY8, Capri by Fraser and IntellexONE Partner to Offer One-Stop Landing Pad for Businesses Entering Johor
JOHOR BAHRU, 16 October 2026 - Businesses looking to establish or expand into Johor will soon have a single ecosystem to turn to for space, talent and connections. INFINITY8, Capri by Fraser and IntellexONE signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) yesterday at Level 40, Capri by Fraser, Johor Bahru, formalizing a three-way partnership to support businesses establishing and growing operations in Johor. The MoU was signed by Lee Sheah Liang, Co-Founder & Director of INFINITY8; Thompson Kou, General Manager of Capri by Fraser, Johor Bahru; and Yang Berhormat Dato’ Ismail bin Karim, Executive Chairman of IntellexONE.
Interest in Johor as a regional base is strong. A Singapore Business Federation report found that 93% of Singapore businesses surveyed view Johor as an attractive investment destination. However, entering a new market can present practical challenges, from securing workspace and hiring local talent to navigating employment requirements and building relationships with local partners. The partnership aims to help local and foreign companies address each of them.
“Companies looking at Johor are no longer asking whether to come, but how to do it well,” said Lee Sheah Liang, Co-Founder & Director of INFINITY8. “By working with Capri by Fraser and IntellexONE, we aim to make market entry more practical by bringing together the workspace, talent and business support companies to establish their presence and grow in Johor.”
Through the partnership, INFINITY8 will provide scalable workspace solutions, recruitment, HR and payroll services. Its Employer of Record (EOR) service enables foreign companies to hire Malaysian talent without immediately establishing a local legal entity. Eligible Singaporean SMEs may also explore Singapore’s Market Readiness (MRA) Grant to support qualifying overseas expansion activities, subject to the scheme’s terms and eligibility criteria.
Capri by Fraser, Johor Bahru will support the partnership by providing event facilities for corporate meetings, cross-border seminars and business engagements. Located near the Sultan Iskandar Customs, Immigration and Quarantine (CIQ) Complex, the hotel offers a convenient venue for businesses travelling between Johor and Singapore.
Its event facilities span approximately 3,610 sq ft across Levels 40 and 41, featuring flexible, pod-style rooms with views of the city of the Straits of Johor. Two rooms on Level 41 can be combined to accommodate larger gatherings, providing a setting for businesses to exchange ideas and explore collaboration opportunities.
“Johor Bahru continues to attract businesses and investment and we are pleased to be part of this collaboration,” said Thompson Kou, General Manager of Capri by Fraser, Johor Bahru. “We look forward to providing a space where businesses can meet, exchange ideas and build meaningful partnerships.”
